Comments California Assembly Passes prop SB100, promising emissions-free electricity sources by 2045. Amid heavy lobbying from environmentalists and other groups, the bill passed, 43 to 32.
Governor Jerry Brown signed the executive order Monday on prop SB100 and also announced the goal to eliminate carbon emissions in the state within 27 years!
